Accessibility Statement

Introduction

We endeavour to make our website https://www.drehwerk.de/ accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG) and the Ordinance on the Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSGV). Our aim is to enable all users, especially people with disabilities, to use the system easily and without restrictions.

This statement describes the accessibility status of our website, the measures taken to remove barriers and the options for contacting us and making complaints.

Scope of this statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.drehwerk.de/.

Service description

We offer the following services on this website:
  • Goods

Frequently asked questions and answers are also included on this website.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

Our website partially fulfils the requirements of the BFSG in conjunction with the BFSGV, the applicable technical standards of European standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1. WCAG conformity corresponds to level AA.

Measures implemented to remove barriers

In spring 2026 we will carry out a major update to our shop software. The new version of the shop software places a strong focus on the topic of “accessibility“. For commercial reasons, we have therefore not yet taken any special measures to implement accessibility.

Non-accessible content

Despite our efforts, the content listed below is not accessible:

  • Images (have no or insufficient alt text)
  • PDF documents
  • Product and footer navigation
  • Slider on the homepage
  • Videos (do not have audio description or subtitles, are embedded via platforms)

We are continuously working to identify and remove existing barriers. We will provide an accessible alternative to the captchas used for forms by the end of August. In spring 2026, we will carry out a major comprehensive update to our shop software, which will remove many of the current barriers. We will endeavour to remove the remaining barriers as soon as possible.

Non-accessible content due to commercial unreasonableness

Some barriers on our website cannot be removed in the short term due to commercial unreasonableness. This includes complex interactive applications and special functions on our website that require considerable financial and human resources to make them fully accessible. We are constantly looking at ways to improve, but cannot remove all barriers immediately due to the disproportionately high costs involved. This applies to the following applications and functions:

  • 360° views
  • Slider on the start page
